Joanna Boston

Joanna Boston is currently the Registrar at Metropolitan College of New York. Prior to that, they were the Registrar's Office Manager at Northland International University from August 2013 to July 2015. Before that, they were the ESL Coordinator at the Academy of Excellence from August 2015 to March 2018.

Ms. Boston has also been an educator for most of their career. Joanna was a Language Arts Instructor at Faith Christian Academy from August 2007 to May 2013 where they prepared and taught lessons in spelling/vocabulary, grammar, composition, and literature to grades 5-12. Joanna also tutored ELLs and students with learning difficulties. In addition to their teaching duties, they also ran the school library (2010-2013), was the Yearbook editor (2012), and taught keyboarding and basic computer skills (2010-2011). Joanna also taught girls P.E. (2008-2009).

Before their time at Faith Christian Academy, Ms. Boston worked as a Preschool Teacher at KinderCare from October 2006 to July 2007 where they prepared and taught lessons to 2.5-3.5 year olds in sorting (by color, shape, size), art, letter recognition, and other basic foundational skills. Joanna also helped build life skills such as dressing themselves, feeding themselves, and toilet training.

Joanna Boston has a MS in Higher Education from Walden University, a International Diploma in Teaching English from Bridge-Linguatec, a Bachelors in Comprehensive Secondary English Education from Northland International University, and a highschool diploma from West Chester Christian School. Joanna also has certifications from TestDome in Attention to Detail and AACRAO in Federal Compliance.

They are on a team with Michelle Blankenship - CFO, Adrian Smith - CIO, and Shawana Singletary - Director, Admissions & Recruitment. Their manager is Joanne Passaro, President.
