Lynne Lindholm currently serves as the Manager of Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable at the Metropolitan Council of the Twin Cities, overseeing a team responsible for accounting activities and financial reporting. With a rich history in finance, Lynne has progressed through various roles, including Accounts Payable Senior Specialist and Accounts Payable Specialist, where leadership and problem-solving skills were paramount. Prior experience includes self-employment as a caterer and event planner, and a long tenure as VP of Business Operations at Communication Mailing Services, managing accounts receivable and implementing accounting systems. Lynne's career began as an elementary school teacher after earning a degree in Elementary Education from Concordia University-St. Paul.

The Metropolitan Council is the regional planning organization in the seven-county Twin Cities metropolitan area. We run the regional bus and light-rail system and Northstar commuter rail, collect and treat wastewater, coordinate regional water resources, plan regional parks, and administer funds that provide housing opportunities for low- and moderate-income families. Our board is appointed by and serves at the pleasure of the Governor.
