Marla Vagts has a diverse work experience, starting in 1999 as a Contract Administrator/Negotiator at ConvergeOne where they gained extensive experience in contract negotiation and problem-solving. In 2011, they worked as an Organizing Fellow at OFA Minnesota. Marla then ran for the position of MN House District 58B in 2015. Marla later worked as a Legal Contractor at Robert Half, providing support to attorneys in reviewing and negotiating contracts. In 2017, Marla founded their own company, MV Strategic Negotiation LLC, where they serve as the Owner. Marla is currently employed as a Principal Contract Administrator at the Metropolitan Council of the Twin Cities, focusing on contract administration. Additionally, Marla has served as a Planning Commissioner at Empire Township and as a City Council Member for the City of Empire.
