Timothy Holper has extensive work experience in various roles related to data and software engineering. Timothy is currently working as the Chief Data Officer at Metropolitan Family Services since December 2021. Previously, they held positions at the Center for Research Informatics, University of Chicago, where they served as the Director of Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence from July 2015 to November 2021. Before that, they were the Manager of CRDW Development and Operations from February 2012 to July 2015 and a Senior Software Engineer on the CRDW team from February 2011 to February 2012.
Prior to their time at the University of Chicago, Holper worked as a Senior Software Engineer at the University of Chicago's Department of Medicine from September 2005 to February 2011. Timothy also served as a Consultant: Database Developer at the University of Illinois at Chicago from 2003 to 2008.

Timothy Holper pursued their education in a variety of fields and achieved multiple degrees. Timothy attended Loyola University Chicago from 1991 to 1995, where they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and English. Later, from 1998 to 2000, they pursued a Master's degree in Research and Statistics at the same university. In 2006, they enrolled at the University of Chicago to pursue a Master of Science (MS) in Computer Science, which they completed in 2009. Recently, from 2017 to 2020, Timothy Holper attended The University of Chicago Booth School of Business, where they obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a specialization in Business Administration, Management and Operations.
