For the past 15 years, he has worked closely with the executive branch, congress, numerous U.S. government agencies, foreign governments and international organizations. As a policy specialist, he looks for multilayered and intersectional trends that affect policy debates and outcomes. He is especially interested in how values shape identity and political debates. His family history and personal experiences have fostered a deep interest in migration, and how the intersection of climate change, conflict and well-being intersect with migration trends.
