Stefania Gkoura

Stefania Gkoura is a Medical Oncologist at Metropolitan Hospital since July 2022 and a PhD candidate at the University of Ioannina, focusing on liquid biopsies. Previous experience includes serving as a Resident Doctor in Medical Oncology at University Hospital of Ioannina from February 2019 to January 2022 and an Internal Medicine Resident at General Oncological Hospital of Kifissia “Agii Anargiri” from February to December 2018. Stefania has also completed residency in Hematology at the University of Athens' LAIKO General Hospital and worked in various positions as an Internal Medicine Resident from 2015 to 2018. Early career includes working as a Medical Doctor in a rural service in the General Hospital of Kastoria. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree from the University of Ioannina and certifications in Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Advanced Trauma Life Support, and Basic Life Support.
