Geoffrey Geiger

Geoffrey Geiger currently serves as the Senior Medical Director and Radiation Oncologist at The Oncology Institute, a position held since March 2024. Prior to this, Geoffrey held multiple roles at GenesisCare, including Medical Director of Radiation Oncology at the Marta A. Gonzalez Cancer Center and Assistant Professor of Radiation Oncology from October 2017 to November 2023. Geoffrey's experience also includes serving as Assistant Professor in the Department of Radiation Oncology at the University of Pennsylvania from July 2012 to August 2017 and earlier positions as Attending and Resident in the same department. Geoffrey's expertise focuses on treating head and neck cancers, gynecological cancers, and central nervous system metastases, with specialized skills in high-dose rate brachytherapy and stereotactic radiosurgery techniques, including CyberKnife and GammaKnife. Geoffrey's educational background includes an MD from the University of Pennsylvania, along with residency training in Radiation Oncology and Internal Medicine at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, and a BS in Biological Chemistry from Bates College.
