Rick Lein

Rick Lein is a seasoned database administrator with extensive experience in healthcare IT and systems engineering. Currently serving as a Database Administrator at UMH-West and Metro Health since March 2020, Rick has previously held notable positions such as Senior Cache DBA Consultant at Baptist Memorial Health Care and Senior Database Application Administrator at Spectrum Health. At Spectrum Health, Rick was instrumental in the migration of the electronic medical record system from Cerner to Epic and managed significant database transitions. With a career beginning as a Programmer Analyst at Provia Software, Rick has acquired a robust skill set in database management and technical support across various platforms. Rick holds a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science from Grand Valley State University.
