Anna Kathryn Word Cfre

Anna Kathryn Word, CFRE has extensive experience in the non-profit sector, with a focus on development and fundraising. Anna Kathryn currently serves as the Chief Development Officer at MIFA (Metropolitan Inter-Faith Association), a position they have held since 2020. Prior to this, Anna Kathryn held various roles including Director of Development at Facing History and Ourselves from 2014 to 2020, Chief Fund Development Officer at The Junior League of Memphis from 2012 to 2014, and Director of Development at Catholic Charities of West Tennessee from 2011 to 2012. Anna Kathryn also has experience at MIFA as a Corporate Development Officer from 2007 to 2011, and at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital - ALSAC as a Gift Compliance and Administration Coordinator from 2003 to 2007. Anna Kathryn also has teaching experience as an Adjunct Instructor at The University of Memphis from 2012 to 2021.

Anna Kathryn Word, CFRE, completed their education with a BA in English Literature from The University of Memphis, where they studied from 1996 to 2001. Anna Kathryn further pursued their academic endeavors and obtained a Master's degree in Non-Profit Administration and Management (MPA) from The University of Memphis, from 2004 to 2007. Additionally, Anna Kathryn Word obtained their Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) certification from CFRE International in July 2013.
