Avery Bowser

Avery Bowser, MPH, currently engages in training as a Psychotherapist at Be You Psychotherapy and has held roles at MJHS as Director of Strategic Initiatives & Project Management and previously Director of Strategy and Innovation. With a background in strategic operations, Avery has successfully led business process improvements and managed teams in various organizations including Stellar Health, where accomplishments included overseeing multiple value-based care programs and improving operational efficiency. Prior experience includes serving as a Research Associate at the Research Foundation of The City University of New York, focusing on mental health initiatives, and working in client services management at BuzzFeed. Avery is pursuing a Master of Education in Mental Health Counseling at Hunter College, after completing a Master of Public Health from CUNY Graduate School of Public Health and Health Policy and a Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations from Syracuse University.
