Laurissa Burns

Laurissa Burns has over two decades of experience in healthcare operations and administration. Currently serving as the Chief Administrative Officer at Elderplan Inc since September 2002, Laurissa has held several leadership roles, including Senior Vice President of Management Services & Medical Affairs, Vice President of Health Plan Operations, and Assistant Vice President of Product Implementation and Claims. Prior to Elderplan, Laurissa worked as a Senior Consultant at Braden Consulting & Associates, Inc., where responsibilities included healthcare operational and technical consulting and project management. Earlier career experience includes serving as the Manager of Claims at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Rhode Island, where Laurissa managed claims department operations and led a project team for claims system conversion.
