Cheryl May has extensive work experience in various roles and companies. Cheryl started their career as a Computer Lab Instructor at Vincennes University in 1983, where they managed the computer lab and assisted students with their assignments.
Cheryl then worked at Kimball International in the Corporate Information Technology division, starting in 1985 as a Programmer/Analyst and later becoming a Business Analyst. In these roles, they were responsible for designing, developing, and deploying business systems for the company's Office Furniture and Electronics Segments. Cheryl also had project management responsibilities.
In 1994, Cheryl joined Kimball International - Jasper Laminates as a Master Scheduler and Customer Service Manager. Cheryl subsequently became the Manufacturing Operations Manager, overseeing all aspects of the company's manufacturing operation and focusing on meeting and exceeding customer expectations.
In 1999, Cheryl transitioned to Kimball International's Kimball Office Furniture Group as the ERP SAP Program Manager. Cheryl was responsible for managing the ERP SAP program for the group until 2005, when they moved to the Kimball Furniture Group as the Group Director of Information Technology. In this role, Cheryl provided IT leadership for the Office Furniture Group Sales and Manufacturing operations, aligning business strategies with the necessary processes and tools.
From 2008 to 2012, Cheryl worked at Kimball International - Kimball Office as the Business Unit Director of Information Technology. Cheryl defined the IT vision and ensured its execution to achieve the company's business goals. Cheryl collaborated with functional leaders to meet their process improvement and IT needs.
Cheryl's most recent role is at Williams Bros. Health Care Pharmacy, where they have been the Chief Information Officer since February 2013. In March 2014, they took on additional responsibilities as the Chief Operating Officer.
