Aletha Saunders

Aletha Saunders is an experienced arts professional, currently serving as a Metropolitan Opera House Fellow at the Metropolitan Opera since June 2021. Prior to this role, Aletha held positions including Front Office Assistant at The Catholic University of America from August 2017 to May 2021, and Stage Manager for Ally Theatre Company's production of War Boys in summer 2019. Additionally, Aletha gained valuable experience as a summer intern with mentorship from Angelisa Gillyard and Tai Alexander, focusing on production, social media, and grant applications. Earlier roles included seasonal work as a Sales Floor Associate at Cliff Price & Co and an internship as a Stage Technician at Dallas Black Dance Theatre, contributing to set and lighting production for their Company Showcase. Aletha Saunders completed a degree in Drama and Business Administration at The Catholic University of America in 2021.
