Daveda Browne

Daveda Browne is a versatile professional with experience in both the arts and finance. As a mezzo soprano, Daveda appears in the Afro-futuristic ensemble of "X: The Life & Times of Malcolm X" with the Metropolitan Opera since September 2023. In the finance sector, Daveda has held various positions at Goldman Sachs since January 2019, including Vice President of GBM Change Management, focusing on program management and change delivery. Additional experience includes independent music performance and teaching with the National Choral Council, as well as multiple roles in toxicology research and product safety at the Research Institute for Fragrance Materials and Colgate Palmolive. Daveda holds a Master of Music in Vocal Performance from Montclair State University and dual Bachelor’s degrees in Biochemistry and Voice from Lehigh University.
