Louise Guinther

Louise Guinther is a seasoned Senior Editor with extensive experience at Opera News and the Metropolitan Opera Guild since November 1988. At OPERA NEWS from November 2005 to September 2023, Louise was responsible for copyediting, proofreading, and managing content while coordinating editorial meetings and supervising fact-checking. With a focus on maintaining high standards of literary excellence and accuracy, Louise wrote feature articles, artist profiles, and managed various ongoing columns. Proficient in several software programs including Word, Pages, InDesign, Adobe Acrobat, and Quark, Louise also played a key role in establishing and maintaining the publication's house style.
