Alex Verba

Alex Verba is a Vice President in Metropolitan’s Asset Management team where his responsibilities include the management, evaluation, and workout of investments. Prior to joining Metropolitan, Alex was the Senior Vice President at A&J Capital, where he successfully structured, invested, and managed a portfolio of $400 million in real estate assets. Alex worked on multiple debtor and credit side turnaround engagements at Alix Partners, and his professional history spans direct investing in high yield, leveraged loans, and distressed assets at TIAA-CREF and CIT. Alex graduated with a B.A. in Economics from Cornell University, holds an M.A. in International Studies from the Lauder School of University of Pennsylvania, and received his M.B.A. in Finance from the Wharton School.
