Chris Heathcote is an experienced police officer currently serving as a Detective Chief Inspector with the Metropolitan Police since June 2012. Chris specializes in public protection investigations across the City of Westminster and London boroughs, leading over 165 officers and detectives in addressing domestic abuse, serious sexual offences, and managing registered sex offenders. Previous roles include positions as a Detective Inspector and Inspector, where Chris oversaw various teams focused on serious crimes and emergency response. Chris also has experience beyond law enforcement, including roles as a Principal Policy Adviser for the CBI and as a researcher for the House of Commons. Educational qualifications include a BSc (Hons) in Government & History from the London School of Economics and an MSc in Police Leadership and Management from the University of Warwick.
