Mark McLeod has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Mark currently holds the position of Acting Business Engagement and Technology Director at the Metropolitan Police, beginning in September 2022. Prior to this role, Mark served as the Programme Director for Microsoft 365 & Mobility programmes at the Metropolitan Police from March 2018 to February 2023. Mark also has experience in the public sector, where they worked as the Director of SIAM and Security Services from an unknown start date until March 2018. Mark has previously held roles at the Metropolitan Police, including Director of Service Delivery in 2015 and Head of Service Delivery and Head of Business Needs from 2008 to 2014. Mark'searlier career includes roles in the legal and compliance sector as well as partnership management at RAC Motoring Services. Mark began their professional journey at LLoyds UDT in 1996 and later worked at Lombard North Central PLC as a Regional Manager and Senior Account Manager from 1988 to 1996.

Mark McLeod has a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from The Open University, which they obtained from 2000 to 2004. Mark also completed a Diploma in Social Policy and Criminology from The Open University in 2001 to 2002. Additionally, they attended BPP Law School from 2005 to 2007 to complete the Bar Vocational Course. In 1995 to 1996, they received a certification in Business Credit and Financial Appraisal from the Finance and Leasing Association.
