Vicky Hodgkinson

Vicky Hodgkinson is an accomplished communications professional with extensive experience in media and public relations. Currently serving as the Deputy Head of Media at the Metropolitan Police since July 2023, Vicky previously held multiple roles at the Department of Health and Social Care from September 2017 to July 2023, including Interim Deputy Head of Media and Chief Communications Officer, overseeing communications related to adult social care and mental health. Vicky also worked at the Alzheimer's Society from August 2014 to August 2017 as Media Officer, leading significant campaigns, and served as PR Officer at The Prince's Trust. Earlier career experience includes a role as Press and Campaigns Assistant at the British Lung Foundation, where Vicky contributed to notable public health initiatives. Vicky holds a First Class BA (Hons) in English Literature and Language from the University of Birmingham.
