Kelly Miller is an experienced attorney currently working at Metropolitan Public Defender since November 2021. Previously, Kelly served as a Judicial Law Clerk at the U.S. Courts of Appeals from September 2020 to September 2021 and held positions as a Justice Catalyst Fellow at both the Immigrant Defenders Law Center and Asian Americans Advancing Justice - Los Angeles. Additional experience includes a law clerk role with the Capital Area Immigrants' Rights Coalition and the ACLU of Southern California, as well as serving as a Senior Paralegal at Immigrant Law Group, PC. Kelly began the legal career as a Paralegal at Just Help: Elkhart County Legal Advocacy Center and has a background in communications and education from the Instituto de Estudios e Investigación Intercultural. Kelly earned a Juris Doctor from the University of California, Los Angeles, School of Law and a Bachelor’s Degree in History from Goshen College.
