Alysyn Harvey-Green

Alysyn Harvey-Green is a dedicated educator and advisor with extensive experience in higher education. Currently serving as CIS Faculty and Coordinator of the Business Meta-Majors Program for the First Year Success Program at Metropolitan State University of Denver since July 2010, Alysyn specializes in teaching Introduction to Computers and Critical Thinking. Previous roles include academic advising and transfer coordination at the Community College of Aurora, where Alysyn provided guidance to students on career goals and academic pathways. Alysyn's professional background also includes positions such as Operations Analyst for Colorado State Parks and Account Manager for First Data Merchant Services, showcasing a diverse skill set in management and communication strategies. Alysyn holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science and Information Systems (CSIS) from the University of Colorado Denver and a Master's degree in Leadership & Organizations from the University of Denver, alongside a Bachelor’s degree in Business/Computer Information Systems and an Associate's degree in General Studies.
