Erin Gibson is an Associate Researcher and Embedded Scientist for the Climate Security National Foresight Group at Nottingham Trent University since September 2016. Currently pursuing a PhD focused on video game micro-transactions, problematic gaming, and gambling behavior, Erin has previously worked as a Research Assistant on the Future of Cities project, emphasizing data analysis and visualization. Other roles include Casual Research Fellow, where Erin utilized R programming for crime data analysis, and hourly paid lecturer. Erin holds a High Commendation in MSc Cyberpsychology, with a dissertation on video game loot boxes, and a BA (Hons) in Communications and Media Studies.
