Carol Lynn Tiegs

Carol Lynn Tiegs is an experienced professional with a diverse background in education, marketing, and government relations. Currently serving as Affiliate Faculty at Metropolitan State University of Denver since August 2013, Carol teaches public relations writing and fundamental courses in Journalism and Technical Communication. As a Marketing Partner at threediamonds10 since December 2011, Carol focuses on distinctive vintage watches. Previously, Carol held the role of Government Relations Specialist at Kaiser Foundation Health Plan, where responsibilities included developing communication strategies for legislative and regulatory matters. Additionally, Carol served as Assistant Director for Advancement/Marketing Coordinator at New Mexico Tech, where significant alumni engagement and fundraising growth were achieved. Carol’s earlier roles include Director of Communication and Development at Crested Butte Academy and Executive Director of Crested Butte Reel Fest, where initiatives led to increased visibility and participation. Carol holds two M.A. degrees from the University of Colorado Boulder in German Studies/Political Science and Journalism.
