Christine Nelson

Christine Nelson is an experienced professional in corporate and foundation relations, currently serving as the Director of Corporate and Foundation Relations at Metro State University since May 2023. Prior to this role, Christine held the position of Director of Corporate and Foundation Relations at the University of Minnesota's Carlson School of Management from February 2018 to May 2023. Additional experience includes serving as Major Gifts Officer for the American Red Cross Minnesota Region, Corporate Relations Manager for the Minneapolis Institute of Arts, and Director of Corporate Relations for Special Olympics Minnesota. Christine's career began as an Office Manager at Gelstat and Managing Editor at Gale Media. Christine holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from the University of Minnesota, obtained between 1988 and 1992.
