Dr. Carolyn Ortega is a seasoned technology executive with extensive experience in product development and management, currently serving as Chief Product Officer at the State of NY Metropolitan Transportation Authority since August 2014. Dr. Ortega has a proven track record in driving innovation and successfully executing digital transformation initiatives, particularly related to application modernization and cloud adoption. Previous roles include Deputy CIO and Associate Vice President of Information Technology at Montclair State University, where Dr. Ortega managed the acquisition of new ERP products, and various positions at JPMorgan Chase, focusing on IT operations and project management.
