Ehle Shachter

Ehle Shachter, MPA, PMP®, serves as the Senior Director of Administration at the Metropolitan Transportation Authority since July 2022. Previously, Ehle worked for the New York State Department of Financial Services from May 2019 to July 2022, holding roles such as Deputy Chief of Staff and Assistant Deputy Chief of Staff, overseeing agency operations and leading significant change management projects. Ehle has a background in agricultural policy, having served as Assistant Director at the NYS Department of Agriculture & Markets, where key initiatives included managing the New York State Council on Hunger and Food Policy. Educational credentials include a Master of Public Administration from Baruch College and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Concordia University.
