Zhi-Wei Lin

Zhi-Wei Lin, P.E. has extensive experience in the transportation and telecommunications sectors, currently serving as Assistant VP at the Metropolitan Transportation Authority since March 2003, where responsibilities include supporting various program areas and leading a team of Network Engineers on critical Subway Systems projects. Previous roles include Senior Director and Principal Engineer at the same organization, focusing on security, system expansion, and construction support for telecommunications projects. Prior to this, Zhi-Wei Lin worked at Alcatel-Lucent as an MTS, specializing in systems engineering for optical product lines, and at Telcordia Technologies as an MTS, providing consultancy for RBOCs and international service providers. Zhi-Wei Lin holds a Master of Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Cornell University, as well as a Regents Diploma from Stuyvesant High School.
