Petrus van der Schyff has extensive experience in finance and leadership roles. Petrus is currently the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at Metropolitan Warehouse & Delivery Corp since June 2019. Before that, they served as CFO at Buggy TLC from September 2018 to June 2019. Prior to that, they held the CFO position at Metropolitan Warehouse & Delivery Corp from December 2017 to August 2018.
Their longest tenure was at DSV - Global Transport and Logistics, where they worked from November 1997 to November 2017. During their time there, they held the role of Vice President, US Shared Service Center. At UTi Worldwide, they also served various CFO roles from December 2008 to March 2016, as well as Divisional Director of Finance from November 1997 to November 2008.
Before their time in the logistics industry, Petrus worked as a Financial Manager in the Cell Phone Division of FNB South Africa from January 1996 to October 1997. Petrus began their career as an Auditor at KPMG from January 1993 to December 1995.
Petrus van der Schyff attended the University of Johannesburg from 1989 to 1991, earning a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Accounting and Finance. In 1992, they obtained an Honours Bachelor of Commerce degree in the same field from the same institution.
