Sarah Christopher Foley

Sarah Christopher Foley currently serves as Senior Deputy General Counsel at the Metropolitan Water District of Southern California. Previously, Sarah was a Partner and Associate at Best Best & Krieger LLP from January 2014 to September 2023. Prior experience includes a role as a Litigation Associate Attorney at Hawkins Parnell Thackston & Young, LLP, and serving as a Briefing Attorney for the Supreme Court of Texas. Sarah began a legal career as a Law Clerk at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, followed by positions at Crady, Jewett, & McCulley LLP and ExxonMobil. Earlier experience includes Judicial Clerkships for The Honorable Randy Wilson and Justice Jane Bland at the First Court of Appeals of Texas. Sarah holds a Juris Doctor degree, cum laude, from SMU Dedman School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts degree, with highest honors, in Classics and Philosophy from The University of Texas at Austin.
