Tim Delathouwer, CSP, has over 18 years of experience in safety management within the water reclamation sector, currently serving as Safety Manager at the Metropolitan Water Reclamation District of Greater Chicago since October 2005. In this role, Tim ensures regulatory compliance and assists in developing safety programs and procedures. Tim has also held the position of Safety & Security Committee Chairman with the Illinois Water Environment Association from 2019 to June 2024, promoting occupational safety in wastewater treatment. Prior experience includes managing environmental health and safety consulting services as Environmental Services and Radon Program Manager at HBIS Engineering from 2002 to 2005. Tim holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Health and Safety from Western Illinois University, earned in 2002.
