James Chua

James Chua is the Co-Founder and CEO of MetroResidences, a leading provider of furnished apartments for urban professionals in Asia. Prior to MetroResidences, James was the Co-Founder of PandaBed, an online vacation rental platform that operated in Asia Pacific. At PandaBed, James was responsible for building a network of trusted vacation homes and educating Asia on the benefits of staying in homestays, B&Bs, peer-to-peer and private residences. James also created a world-class vacation rental platform that was good for the traveler and good for the homeowner. In addition to their work at PandaBed, James has also worked as an Investment Specialist at Phillip Capital Management, where they managed institutional distribution of Phillip's funds and managed accounts.

James Chua has a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from UC San Diego, and has also attended Robert Louis Stevenson School and Anglo-Chinese School (Independent).
