Andy Gill

Andy Gill has a diverse work experience spanning over 20 years. Andy currently holds the position of Strategic Talent Acquisitions Lead at MetroStar since May 2023. Previously, they worked as a Recruiting Manager and Technical Sourcing Recruiter at Amazon Web Services (AWS) from 2021 to 2023. At Spok, they served as a Senior Technical Recruiter for three years, contributing to the transition of on-prem solutions to a cloud-native SaaS offering. Before that, at Entegee, they held the role of Senior Recruiter and National Account Manager, specializing in full-cycle recruiting for clients in the DoD, Aerospace, IT, Engineering, and Cleared networks. Additionally, Andy worked as the Founder/Owner of Patriarch Painting LLC, where they successfully managed advertising, sales, subcontractors, and customer relations, earning top business ratings and awards. Andy began their career in the United States Air Force, serving as a Communication/Navigation and Defensive Avionics Systems Craftsman, and later as a Recruiter, achieving outstanding results in full cycle recruiting and earning top honors and awards.

Andy Gill completed their education at the Community College of the Air Force in 2014, earning an Associate of Science (A.S.) degree in Electrical Avionics. Prior to that, they obtained their High School Diploma from James River High School in the years 1997 to 2000. In addition to their formal education, Andy has obtained several certifications in areas such as teamwork, productivity, recruiting veterans, and time management, all of which were acquired from LinkedIn in March 2020.
