Nikolay Guentchev

Nikolay Guentchev is a highly experienced IT professional with a strong background in systems development, architecture, and database administration. Currently serving as a Senior Adabas/Natural Developer and DBA at MetroStar Systems since November 2009, Nikolay focuses on modernizing legacy systems using Software AG and Microsoft technologies. Previous roles include Lead Programmer/Analyst at DB Schenker and Lead Programmer/Analyst at BAX Global International, where responsibilities encompassed system deployment, data modeling, and full SDLC support for various projects. Nikolay began his career as a Computer Engineer, gaining experience in reverse engineering and software development in Bulgaria's National Assembly. Holding a certification as a Business Analyst from UC Irvine and degrees in Computer Science and Mathematics from Sofia University, Nikolay possesses a solid educational foundation to complement extensive practical experience.
