Simrah Ahmed

Simrah Ahmed is a Registered Nurse currently working in Labor and Delivery at MetroWest Medical Center since May 2023. Previously, Simrah gained diverse nursing experience through student nurse positions at Boston Children's Hospital, Brigham and Women's Hospital, Margaret M. Shea RN Adult Day Health Program, Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, and Massachusetts General Hospital, focusing on areas such as pediatric nursing, labor and delivery, psychiatric care, and advanced medical surgical nursing. Simrah also served as a Peer Mentor at Northeastern University and worked as a Real Estate Administrative Assistant for Zain Realty and Management. Educational qualifications include an Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Simmons University and a Bachelor's degree from Northeastern University. Additionally, Simrah completed a Pediatric Epilepsy Research Internship at Boston Children's Hospital – Harvard Medical School, where involvement included data preparation and patient interaction.
