Christer Jonsson

Christer Jonsson has a diverse work experience in Human Resources. Most recently, they served as the Human Resources Director at Metsä Board since November 2019. Prior to that, they worked as the HR Director at APL Pharma Specials from May 2012 to October 2019. Additionally, Christer held various HR roles at KPMG Sweden from May 2008 to April 2012, including Head of Learning & Development and HR Business Advisor. Christer also worked at AstraZeneca, where they held positions such as HR Business Partner, Associate Staffing Director, HR Team Lead, and HR Manager. Before that, Christer served as an HR Consultant at Norrlands Universitetssjukhus (NUS) Umeå.

Christer Jonsson obtained an MSc in Human Resources Management & Development from Umeå University, where they studied from 1994 to 1998. Additionally, they have obtained certifications in LinkedIn and strategic diversity and inclusion from F5 Networking - Sweden and Aktuell Hållbarhet Utbildning, respectively. The certification in LinkedIn was obtained in 2023, while the strategic diversity and inclusion certification was obtained in April 2016.
