Laura Peljo

Laura Peljo has a strong background in human resources, with their most recent role being the Human Resources Director at Metsä Board since September 2019. Prior to that, they were the HR Manager at Metsä Board from July 2018 to August 2019. Before joining Metsä Board, Laura worked as the HR Manager at Lantmännen Cerealia from January 2016 to July 2018. Laura also has experience with Vaasan Oy, where they held various HR roles, including HR Manager from January 2012 to December 2015, HR Specialist from September 2011 to December 2011, and HR Coordinator from September 2008 to August 2011.

Laura Peljo earned a Master's degree in Food Science from the University of Helsinki from 2003 to 2008. Laura also obtained a bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a specialization in Human Resource Management from Haaga-Helia University of Applied Sciences from 1998 to 2002. Additionally, they completed their matriculation from Oulunkylän yhteiskoulu from 1995 to 1998. In 2008, they completed a business-oriented HRD Specialist program at Fintra Projects Ltd Oy.
