Marjo Halonen

Marjo Halonen is an experienced communications professional with a career spanning over a decade in various senior roles. Currently serving as VP Communications at Metsä Board since January 2017, Halonen previously held the position of VP Communications at Outokumpu from January 2013 to December 2016, where responsibilities included overseeing employee communications. Prior to that, Halonen was Head of PR and Communications at Specsavers Finland Oy from June 2009 to January 2013 and VP Marketing & Communications at M-real from September 2006 to June 2009, also serving as Regional Sales Director. Halonen's academic foundation is rooted in a degree from the Turku School of Economics at the University of Turku, completed between 1982 and 1987.
