Kaisu Vaalto

Kaisu Vaalto has extensive experience in communications, currently serving as the Director of Communications at Metsä Group since November 2016, where leadership of the external and internal communications team includes responsibilities for content production, annual and financial reporting, stakeholder publications, social media development, crisis communications, and media relations. Prior to this role, Kaisu held several positions within Metsä Fibre, starting as Communications Officer in January 2007 and advancing to Communications Specialist and Manager of Communications before returning to Metsä Group. Kaisu holds a Bachelor of Culture and Arts degree from Satakunta University of Applied Sciences, obtained between 2002 and 2006.
