Antti Mäkinen

Antti Mäkinen is a Finnish business executive and member of the board at Metso Outotec. Antti has worked in the mining and metals industry for over 9 years in various engineering and management roles.

Mäkinen started their career as a process operator at Talvivaara Sotkamo Oy in 2011. Antti then moved to Endomines AB as an engineer in 2012. In 2013, they joined Outotec as a technology support engineer for beneficiation projects. Antti remained with the company for seven years, until 2020.

In December 2020, Mäkinen was appointed as a member of the board at Metso Outotec. Antti is responsible for the company's technology strategy and product development.

Antti Mäkinen studied process engineering at the University of Oulu, where they earned a Master of Science (Technology) degree. Antti also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in chemistry from the University of Oulu.
