Satu Jyrkönen

Satu Jyrkönen has extensive work experience in the field of technology and research and development. They started their career as a Senior Research Engineer at Outokumpu Research Oy in 1998. In 2009, they joined Outotec, where they held roles such as Vice President of Research and Technology Development, Director of R&D, and Product Director of Flash Smelting. From 2020 onwards, Satu Jyrkönen has been working as the Technology Director of Flash Smelting at Metso Outotec.

Satu Jyrkönen has a Doctor of Technology degree in Metallurgy from Teknillinen korkeakoulu-Tekniska högskolan, earned between 1986 and 1998.
