Carita Himberg

Carita Himberg serves as a Board Member at Koskisen Oyj and currently holds the position of Chief People Officer at Metso since May 2023, following a similar role at Metso Outotec since October 2020. Previously, Carita was the SVP of HR for Stora Enso's Packaging Materials and Consumer Board divisions, and held various HR leadership positions at Microsoft, including Director of HR Line Solutions and HR Director for the Windows Devices Group. Carita's experience also includes a significant tenure at Nokia, where roles included Global HR Director for the Smart Devices Business Unit. Additional leadership experience encompasses positions at Outokumpu Oyj and Novartis. In terms of education, Carita is currently pursuing a Doctorate in Business Administration at SDA Bocconi and holds an MBA from HSEBA and Erasmus Rotterdam School of Management, along with other executive education credentials from prestigious institutions including INSEAD and Harvard Business School.
