Jarmo Koskimaa

Jarmo Koskimaa is an experienced professional in quality management and engineering, currently serving as Director of Corporate Quality Management at Metso since May 2023. Prior to this role, Jarmo held several key positions within Metso Outotec, including Director of Corporate Quality Management from July 2020 to May 2023. With a longstanding career at Outotec from June 2006 to July 2020, Jarmo's roles included Director of Corporate HSE, Global Head of Quality and HSE Management, Senior Manager of Manufacturing Development, Head of Project Management, and Head of Product Line. Earlier experience at Outokumpu involved leadership in mechanical engineering and project management from 1997 to 2006, while initial work experience spanned project management and steel structure engineering at Aaro Kohonen from 1989 to 1997. Jarmo holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from LUT University and has an educational background that includes an Approbatory in Education from the University of Helsinki and a high school diploma from Orimattilan lukio.
