Laura Kalén

Laura Kalén serves as the Director of Global Compensation at Metso since May 2023, overseeing compensation practices for over 17,000 employees in more than 50 countries. Prior to this role, Laura held a similar position at Metso Outotec and served as Senior HR Manager for Reward at Caverion, where responsibilities included developing incentive plans and managing salary reviews. Earlier experience includes rewarding management at Wärtsilä and providing people advisory services at EY, focusing on performance management and compensation strategies. Educational qualifications include an MBA in International Business Management from HAAGA-HELIA University of Applied Sciences and a BBA in International Operations from Turku University of Applied Sciences, complemented by specialization in Human Resource Management.
