Vesa Erolainen

Vesa Erolainen is an experienced IT executive with a comprehensive background in technology and management, currently serving as CIO at Metso since May 2023 and as a member of the Board of Directors at 3stepIT. Previously held the CIO position at Metso Outotec from July 2020 to May 2023, and at Metso from August 2017 to July 2020. Vesa's career also includes leadership roles at Pöyry, UPM, Myllykoski Oyj, Colombier Group, Myllykoski Paper Oy, and Myllykoski Oy, focusing on IT strategy, development, and implementation across various organizations. Vesa holds an MBA from Henley Business School and a Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology from Kotka Polytechnic.
