Sumit Bhatia

Sumit Bhatia has extensive work experience in sales and business development. Sumit currently holds the position of Vice President of Sales - SAARC Region at Mettcover Global Inc. USA since July 2022. Prior to this, they worked as the Vice President at Mth Srl from September 2014 to March 2021. Sumit also served as the Business Head-Telecom & Networking Division at T V Sundram Iyengar & Sons Limited from April 2014 to September 2014.

Before their roles in management, Sumit worked as a Freelance Consultant for Development & Business Planning from May 2011 to March 2014. Sumit was the Business Consultant for various clients during this time.

From August 2007 to May 2011, Sumit served as the Director Sales - Carrier (India & SAARC) at ADC India Communications Ltd (A TYCO Electronics company). Prior to that, they were the Head RF Business (India) at TVS Interconnect Systems Ltd from February 2005 to July 2007.

Sumit also has experience as a Regional Sales Manager at KEC RPG Cables from May 2001 to January 2005, as a Regional Sales Manager at Primus Telecommunications India Ltd. from April 2000 to April 2001, and as a Manager Sales at Blue Star Limited & Punwire from January 1996 to March 2000.

Sumit started their career as a Branch Manager at IRA Ltd from April 1991 to December 1995.

Sumit Bhatia attended Gulbarga University from 1986 to 1991, where they pursued a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Electronics and Communication. After completing their undergraduate education, they enrolled in a Certificate Program in Sales and Marketing Management at the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, in 1997.
