Niklaus Heiden

Niklaus Heiden has extensive work experience in software engineering and development. Niklaus started their career in 2007 as a Web Developer at Entertainment Publications. In 2009, they moved on to Niche Retail, LLC where they served as a Lead Developer. Here, they managed and maintained web platforms, such as Magento and OCP by Fry, and had responsibilities including managing deployments, writing customized code extensions, and managing Github repositories.

In 2011, Niklaus joined Guardian Industries as a Software Engineer. Niklaus performed full stack development on an internal ERP system, utilizing Java and Swing UI. Niklaus added REST webservices and a JSF client to the system, and used Enterprise Architect to create UML diagrams for designs. Niklaus continued to work at Guardian Industries until 2023.

Most recently, Niklaus Heiden joined Mettle Solutions as a Senior Software Engineer in March 2023.

Niklaus Heiden attended Michigan Technological University from 2005 to 2008, where they studied Computer Engineering. Following this, they enrolled at Lawrence Technological University from 2009 to 2012. During this time, they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science.
