Jingqian Wang

Jingqian Wang is a Senior Research & Development Engineer in Software at Mevion Medical Systems since July 2019, leading projects focused on Monte Carlo simulation to enhance proton therapy treatments. Prior experience includes working as a Software Engineer at Varian Medical Systems and serving as a Fellow at MD Anderson Cancer Center, where significant contributions were made in radiation measurement and machine learning models for proton therapy. Additionally, Jingqian Wang has a background as an Air Pollution Specialist at the California Air Resources Board, developing a statewide meteorological database, and as a Meteorologist at the National Meteorological Center of China, producing weather forecasts for various applications. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Atmospheric Sciences from the University of Houston and an MS in Meteorology from Ocean University of China.
