Zhengdong Liu

Zhengdong Liu is a seasoned mechanical manufacturing engineer currently serving as a Senior Mechanical Manufacturing Engineer at Mevion Medical Systems since September 2020. Previous roles include Project Engineer and Engineer at Intertek from September 2017 to September 2020, and Application Engineer at GNW Laser in early 2017. Zhengdong's experience encompasses operating laser systems, designing manufacturing processes, and conducting economic comparisons of advanced manufacturing techniques during a master's research assistantship at Northeastern University. Zhengdong also has experience in energy efficiency product management at Eversource Energy, where significant energy savings were achieved, and held marketing and engineering internship roles at China Telecom and Dongfeng Automobile, respectively. Zhengdong holds a Master's Degree in Industrial Engineering from Northeastern University and a Bachelor's Degree in Thermal and Power Engineering from Huazhong University of Science and Technology.
