Riyad Abou Jaoudeh

Riyad is a Partner at MEVP, where he has led and closed several investments in technology companies across the MENA region over the past 7 years. Riyad specializes in marketplaces, transportation, on-demand logistics and SaaS. Riyad is a board member in several technology startups.

Riyad is a board member and observer in multiple technology companies in the region including Fresha, Rain, Lyve, Bykea, Basma, Designer-24 and MNT-Halan.

Prior to joining MEVP, Riyad was a Senior Associate with Strategy& (formerly Booz & Company) working in the TMT sector with clients across the region on topics such as strategy, digital transformation and smart cities. Riyad also helped launched an e-commerce platform focusing on toys and was country manager for Qatar at Careem in the early period of Careem.

Riyad Holds an MBA from The Wharton School, a masters in Engineering from the University of Southern California, and a bachelor of Engineering from the American University of Beirut.
