Ben began a career in intellectual property following a comprehensive background in plant biotechnology, including a Gatsby PhD at the University of Cambridge focused on genetic engineering to enhance crop productivity, and a PG Certificate in Intellectual Property Law from Queen Mary University of London. Ben's educational journey also includes a BSc in Biological Sciences from The University of Manchester, where the final year specialism was in plant sciences, alongside various research roles that contributed to a deep understanding of molecular and cellular biology.
